Our vineyards are characterized by yielding different red varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, País, Petit Verdot, Carmenère, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan.

Climate and Ground

The climate that prevails around the vineyards is a typical dry mediterranean climate during the ripening season, with chilly wind from the Pacific Ocean, which cools down the evenings. The ground is granitic and clayey with low content of organic matter.

Fermentation

As regards production, our different types of wine start their fermentation stage in stainless steel containers and wooden casks. In total, 100 french-origin casks with 225 litter capacity, stored in an underground cellar, which allows us to store the wines for the exact time in order to obtain a final product with a few production units but of such quality that it gives people something to talk about, about us, about Las Veletas.
